Partners in Care
Many people who contact Acompalia are looking for private doctors, nurses and carers to help them through this difficult time. Acompalia does not directly employ medical or auxiliary staff but we are fortunate in having some wonderful people working alongside us. Please contact them direct if you are in need of private care.

“I just can’t cope on my own.”
“I am exhausted.”
“I feel guilty if I leave him alone.”
“I am constantly clock watching if I leave her alone just to go to the bank.“
These are all words we hear from our callers to the Helpline who are caring for their loved ones under difficult circumstances. Even if there is a large family they probably don’t live nearby and the burden of caring often falls on one person’s shoulders. Acompalia can help with support and advice from our volunteers but we do not directly employ carers or medical staff. Here you will find our Partners in Care; people who are trained and working in the field of caring for terminally ill patients. Please contact them directly and tell them you have found their details through Acompalia.
