All the items that you donate go directly to shops and rastros or other Acompalia events. They provide the funds we need to build a Palliative Center, and later a Hospice for terminally ill patients. We also look for specific items that will help to make a difference today for our patients or to support other Acompalia fund-raising activities.
Help our charity shop raise funds by donating items you no longer need!
Old furniture, appliances, bric-a-brac and clothes – here’s a great opportunity to de-clutter your home and help Acompalia raise funds for its palliative care work in the Granada region.
We welcome your second-hand items, clean and in good condition, including:
- clothes, including babies’ and children’s clothes
- CDs and DVDs (but not videos and cassette tapes!)
- ‘as new’ footwear
- jewellery, belts, bags and other accessories
- crockery, cutlery and household items
- furniture in good condition
Another important service we provide from the Acompalia shop is a store of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, special beds, medical or mobility aids etc. These will be available for lending to patients and we are hoping that people will give us any items they have stored which are no longer in use; they could make all the difference to the comfort and quality of life of many patients.
Finally, we are always happy to welcome volunteers, to run the shop and office, and to receive and sort goods donated by the public!

Items that still have a lot of life left in them that you’d like to pass on. One persons rubbish is another persons treasure! Things you think other people may enjoy! Contact our shop chief if you have items you want to donate.
